A grand chapter in Selkirk Common Riding story

Prior to a meeting of Selkirk Common Riding Trust, Sheila Lockie and Jake Wheelans, from Selkirk Common Riding booklet committee, presented trust provost Keith Miller with a cheque for £1,000 – part of the profits generated by last year’s booklet.

This will hopefully help in meeting ongoing costs associated with running the ceremonial side of the common riding.

Committee members have also donated money to the bunting girls who are currently making lots of new true blue and scarlet bunting to go up around the town at the common riding.
