Frozen fans enjoy a party fit for princesses in Hawick

Lots of little Annas, Elsas and Olafs filled the Heart of Hawick at the weekend as the arts venue turned on its Christmas lights and launched this year’s series of festive events there.

Sunday belonged to the little ones as excited fans of Disney’s Frozen films donned their fanciest frocks to meet princesses Anna and Elsa and posed for photographs throughout the afternoon.

Youngsters, already beyond excited for the release of Frozen 2, which hit cinemas last week, helped count down as Anna and Elsa, known to adults as Emma Hunter and Cheryl Hume from Hawick events firm Prinsis Parties, switched on the tree lights.
