Dog in intensive care after poisoning
Dog walkers have been warned to be careful if they plan to exercise their pets on what is known as the Triangle Field on the outskirts of Selkirk after a dog was poisoned.
It’s a popular spot for dog walkers and the field sports a monument to Dandy comic character Black Bob.
Councillor Caroline Cochrane said she reported the incident to the town’s new community police officer Stephen Granger after being contacted by a resident.
