To mark the launch of the appeal, Marie Curie created a daffodil artwork made of 4,129 LED tea lights – representing the number of people Marie Curie looked after across its nine hospices and in private homes per month last year.

Collections held at High Street, Selkirk on March 18 and 19 raised over £795.00, and collections held at Morrisons, Hawick from March 14-19 raised £1,542.26.
