Bail refused for Jedburgh man accused of assault
A 45-year-old man has been remanded in custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court after being accused of assaulting a man to his severe injury.
Colin George is charged with attacking the 28-year-old man during an incident at a property in Jedburgh’s Howden Road last Thursday night, August 13.
He made no plea during a private hearing and the case was continued for further examination.

Hide AdGeorge, who gave an address in Jedburgh, had his motion for bail refused by Sheriff Peter Paterson and he was remanded in custody and due to appear in court again next week.
Police Scotland said the alleged victim suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries.
