A wee walk to the rugby for Doddie
Former special forces soldier, now investigative journalist, Jason Fox, will be heading to Edinburgh from the Borders tomorrow to take in the British and Irish Lions match against Japan at Murrayfield.
However, he won’t be taking the train.
Instead, he will be walking the 32 miles ahead of the match, in aid of Doddie Weir’s MND foundation, hopefully arriving before kick-off.
He said: “Doddie is one of rugby’s most recognisable personalities.
"His story has touched the rugby world. And to have done it with a smile never far from his lips, and humour punctuating every call to action, Doddie does inspire.”
Jason has so far raised £3,705 of his £1,600 target.
