Nostalgia...and a slightly suspect Snow White
Earlston Civic Week's fancy dress parade is this Sunday, so we've taken the opportunity to look back into the archives to see what we could find. The Halbert family and friends were a hit as Snow White and the Seven Dwarves in 1986. (That's Snow White hiding at the back!)
Another hit was the committee’s idea to make some kids’ wishes come true. Two of these were Mark Cessford and John Scott, who went on points duty with a policeman and held up the traffic for the parade.
