NOSTALGIA: Innerleithen Opera 2007
Innerleithen and District Amateur Operatic Society staged another splashy, sassy and lavish period musical 10 years ago in 2007.
Taking the lead roles in the almost brand new musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, which is based on the 1967 American movie of the same name, were Nicola Watt and Adam Sherwood who starred as Millie and Jimmy. Produced by the talented Brian McGlasson, with musical direction from Derek Calder and John Howden, and dances set by Anne Anderson and Morag Hastie, it was a night of thoroughly marvellous fun, laughter and good music.
