Having recorded and released their first EP, Paved With Good Intentions, for free, the group have gone on in their career and are now preparing to release their third album, Select Start.

The new songs are the first to feature ex-Stiltskin guitarist and Swinton-based musician Scott Spence.

The band will play a CD release show, along with support Torino, at the Duns Volunteer Hall on Saturday, October 3.

Community project Heart for Duns recently acquired the hall, and hope the show will be the first instance of a regular band night.

And a lucky gig-goer will be able to get their hands on a very limited-edition vinyl copy .

There are only five copies of the band’s upcoming single North Atlantic.

The trio have also shot a video to go with their song, featuring the Berwickshire coastline.

Easter Street’s Derek Huffman described the band’s original approach to self-promotion this week: “We will be doing something unusual along with the release - we are asking people to keep their eyes out for a limited-edition pair of 3D red and blue glasses, which will be left in public places all around the Borders and the north east.

“These glasses will contain a link to our 3D website, (easterstreet.com) where they can then be used to get a free download.”
