Melrose pupils' sound investment

Melrose Primary School P7 pupils presented a cheque to staff and patients at the Cauldshields ward, Borders General Hospital.In December, the youngsters were supposed to be going there to sing Christmas carols '“ but illness on the ward forced the event's cancellation.The pupils decided to perform in Melrose Square instead, asking people to donate money for Caudshields ward. They raised £49 and all 45 pupils turned up at the ward for the presentation.
