Man facing firearm charge
A Newcastleton man appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court accused of being in possession of a prohibited weapon.
Barry Davies, 39, is charged under section five of the 1968 Firearms Act. He made no plea, and the case was continued for further examination.
Davies was released on bail by sheriff Kevin Drummond.
