In pictures: Festive season arrives in Earlston as Christmas lights are turned on

Earlston was one of two Borders towns, along with Innerleithen, to have their Christmas lights switched on yesterday, December 8, to herald the arrival of the festive season.

Our photographer Bill McBurnie was there to see it happen.
