The packed Festival of
Museums programme,
organised by Museums
Galleries Scotland, brings the country’s ancient and modern history to life through interactive and unique events across the length and breadth of the country.

There are events for the whole family with baby sensory events for tiny tots and
dementia friendly reminiscence sessions where visitors can relive their personal
histories.

Now in its 12th year the
festival welcomes a number of new venues to the line-up
including Edinburgh’s
outstanding Jupiter Artland sculpture park, St Ronan’s Wells a historic spa overlooking Leithen Valley and
Skelmorlie Secret Bunker.

Sarah Burry-Hayes,
marketing manager at
Museums Galleries Scotland, said: “The Festival of Museums programme is bursting with fun events to spark the imagination and celebrate culture in Scotland.

“Visitors to fantastic venues across the country will experience museums in
interactive, unexpected and hands-on ways.”
