Eyemouth lifeboat tows yacht to safety

Eyemouth lifeboat and its volunteer crew were launched at around 6.40pm on Monday, April 4, after a yacht requested assistance with engine failure.
The 26 foot yacht, Chuckles, with two people on board, had lost engine power close to the Hurker rocks and required a tow to safety.
Eyemouth lifeboat was quickly on scene and passed a two line to the Chuckles, then towed it back to Eyemouth harbour where it was placed safely alongside 25 minutes after the initial launch.
