Election: John Swinney opens SNP campaign hub
Accompanied by SNP MSP Paul Wheelhouse, from Ayton, Mr Swinney told his audience: “Calum Kerr is just what the Borders needs – a tireless representative who will work for hope and renewal across the region.”
Mr Kerr went on to describe the May election as a choice for voters between the Conservatives and the SNP.

“As your SNP MP, I’ll ensure we get the new start we desperately need. I was born and raised in the Borders and will do my best for everyone living and working here.
“I’ve already been campaigning for a new station at Reston, and I’ll push for a better deal for our embattled farming and fishing communities.
