Woman admits school bust-up at Newtown


Background reports have been ordered on a woman involved in a disturbance at Newtown Primary School.
Jillian Reid, 45, of Glenburn Avenue in Newtown, pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing, making threatening and abusive remarks and pushing another person to the body.
That offence was committed at the Sprouston Road school on September 25.
Sentence was deferred until February 10 for the production of a criminal justice social work report.
