Police are appealing for information following the incident which happened at Willowford Farm, near Camptown between 3pm on Sunday, December 22, and 2.30am the following day.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A silver Ifor William’s triple-axle cattle trailer was stolen overnight. We would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious.

“If you have any information that may assist with this enquiry please contact us on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org, and quote incident number 2020 of Monday, December 23, 2019.”

The six-wheeled metal trailer was clearly marked with the word Willowford in black writing across its front.

In August police were called to the same farm after two people took off from the farm during an alleged late-night attempted theft.
