More than 70 sheep stolen from Lilliesleaf farm

A farm near Lilliesleaf has reported having 73 sheep stolen.

More than 70 sheep have been reported stolen from a farm at Lilliesleaf.

That theft was carried out between Wednesday, July 17, and Monday, July 29.

The rustlers responsible are said to have taken 32 ewes and 41 lambs.

The sheep stolen are identifiable by red marks on the backs of their heads and red lines down their backs.

A witness appeal has been issued by police, and anyone able to help identify the culprits is asked to call 101, quoting incident No 1,095 of July 30, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
