Man remanded after alleged assault in Langlee
A Galashiels man accused of assaulting another man to his severe injury will remain locked up until his trial.
Following a second private hearing at Selkirk Sheriff Court, 33 year old Andrew Atkinson was remanded in custody.
He also faces a charge of threatening or abusive behaviour.
It follows an incident in the Langlee area of Galashiels last week when a man suffered serious injuries.
Atkinson made no plea and was fully committed for trial at the latest private hearing.
