Jedburgh 37-year-old jailed for drink-driving and other motoring offences
A 37-year-old man has been jailed for eight months and banned from the road for three years for motoring offences including drink-driving.
Scott Amos, formerly of Denholm but now of Jedburgh, appeared from custody at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to be sentenced for those offences, committed in February and April.
He admitted being in charge of a vehicle while over the legal alcohol limit and failing to tell police the identity of a driver, as well as a breach of bail.
On another occasion, he failed to provide a sample of breath when required to do so by a police officer and behaved in a threatening or abusive manner.
Amos also admitted a further charge of drink-driving, along with careless driving and breaching bail.
