Jedburgh 29-year-old fined £125 over bust-up with partner

A man involved in a bust-up with his partner has been fined at Jedburgh’s sheriff court.

Marc Smith, 29, of Allerley Crescent in Jedburgh, drove his car into the path of a vehicle his partner was being transported in as a passenger.

He had previously pleaded guilty to a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.

After hearing he had been of good behaviour for the past six months, sheriff Donald Ferguson imposed a fine of £125.
