Information sought after person assaulted in Galashiels last night
An investigation has been launched following an assault in Galashiels yesterday.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information to the early-evening incident.
A forces spokesman said: “We are asking for assistance from the public following an assault that happened on Melrose Road in Galashiels between 8.25pm and 8.45pm on Wednesday, May 20. The assault took place on Melrose Road near to the junction with Hawthorn Road.”
