Former Jedburgh woman admits shoplifting

A 37-year-old woman has admitted a series of shoplifting offences at Selkirk Sheriff Court.

Lisa Harper, formerly of Exchange Street in Jedburgh, pleaded guilty to shop thefts in Earlston, Newtown and Kelso between May and October.

Items stolen included alcohol, cosmetics and clothing.

The case has been transferred to Edinburgh Sheriff Court for a drug treatment and testing order assessment to be considered on April 11.
