Class A drugs recovered from Galashiels flat during police raid
A quantity of heroin and cannabis have been recovered by police during a search of a Galashiels flat this morning.
Officers wearing white overalls and face masks forced entry to the home in Gala Park to conduct the search, and though drugs were recovered no arrest was made.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 11 am on Thursday, May 14, officers searched a house in Gala Park, Galashiels, under warrant.
“A quantity of drugs including heroin and cannabis was recovered.
“No-one has been arrested at this time and enquiries are continuing.”
