39-year-old woman arrested after alleged theft from Jedburgh home

A 39-year-old woman will appear in court on Monday after being arrested and charged in connection with a theft from a home in Jedburgh last night.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were called to a report of a theft in the Under Nags Head Close area of Jedburgh, around 6.15pm on Thursday, May 7.

“A 39-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, May 11.”

Police have also witnessed an appeal for information to a robbery which took place elsewhere in the town just hours earlier, during which a pensioner was targeted by a man disguised as a delivery driver.
