A72 crash victim named by Police
The collision took place at around 7.20pm on the A72 Cliff Road, when the 45-year-old’s Kawasaki motorbike collided with a tractor.
The tractor was towing a trailer and had been crossing the roadway near the entrance of Caddonlee Farm.

Hide AdOfficers continue to appeal for witnesses, and believe that Stuart had been travelling eastbound on the A72 and turned north at the Nest roundabout shortly beforehand.
His family have issued the following tribute through Police Scotland: “Stuart’s family and friends are devastated at our loss. The support we have had since the accident is very much appreciated and has been a comfort.”
PC Paul Aitchison of Road Policing said: “This is a very difficult time for Stuart’s family and friends and our condolences are with them.
“Our enquiries continue and I’d urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or seen either vehicle shortly beforehand, to get in touch.
