Parents take inspiration for names from everything from their favourite TV character to long-running family names - with some even preferring to name their baby after a particular location.

New research by FlowerCard has analysed baby name data from both the UK and US in order to discover how many babies have names inspired by a location. These are the 10 most popular baby names inspired by a location over the last two decades.
