The average learner driver typically takes 47 lessons before passing their test, according to the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). With lessons priced at around £24 each time, the costs soon add up - especially in some parts of the UK. New research from Hitachi Personal Finance found that the costs for learning to drive can vary dramatically depending on where you live, leaving some learners more out of pocket than others. Here are the average prices for lessons across the UK, ranked from the cheapest to the most expensive.
