Interim board chairperson Elaine Acaster said: “We look forward to applications from individuals who meet the selection criteria and can contribute to the governance of this successful, forward-looking college.”

“Board members often find they gain as much as they contribute to governance, including insights into the role of the college in educational, economic and community developments.”

College principal Angela Cox added: “As a progressive organisation, we are ambitous to play our part in a green and skills-led economic recovery.

“Opportunities for the Borders have never been better and Borders College, at the heart of our community, has a significant contribution to make in realising those opportunities.

“If you want to be part of that, then please do get in touch.”

No prior board membership experience is required, and training and mentoring will be available.
