Town’s famous five ‘good to go’ after lockdown

Five companies which represent the best of Hawick have disclosed their safety-first approach as they navigate the way back from lockdown.

The Famously Hawick group represents The Borders Distillery, Hawico, Johnstons of Elgin, William Lockie and Lovat Mill.

The top brands of weavers, knitters and distillers have all completed Good to Go self-certification, the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow government and industry Covid-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
