Excellence in business is recognised in the Borders
For the first time, this annual awards scheme was organised and sponsored by the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce.
Attended by 150 guests, the event was hosted by TV presenter Fiona Armstrong. The awards were presented by Keith Brown MSP, the Scottish Government cabinet secretary for investment, infrastructure and the cities.

Hide AdJack Clark, convenor of SBCC, said: “In today’s economic climate, it is vital to celebrate success. We have many excellent businesses in the Borders of which we should all be proud.
“This awards scheme, the premier event of its kind in the Borders, is all about recognising excellence. The chamber is delighted to be associated with it.
“And we were even more delighted with the quality and diversity of entrants we received, which made the job of the judges all the more difficult.
“With the economy beginning to pick up after a number of years of recession, businesses throughout the Borders have learned that excellence pays dividends in today’s global market and that planning for the future means having to combine excellence in both product and service in order to succeed.
“To all our winners and runners-up, I say ‘congratulations and continued success.’”
