Bag charging advice available online
With less than three weeks until the introduction of a national carrier bag charge, Zero Waste Scotland is offering advice and support to retailers to help them to prepare for and understand the requirements.
The legislation will require all retailers to charge a minimum of 5p for every single-use carrier bag. See www.carrierbagchargescotland.org.uk for more details.
