Traquair's medieval fayre is a step back in time
A Grand Tournée will take place on the wineglass lawn in front of the house with combat displays with knights in armour.

Hide AdThe old Walled Garden will become a Medieval market with living history displays of everything from making chain mail armour to medicinal remedies. You can have a go at longbow archery, or see how medieval torture instruments were used!
Traders and demonstrators include felt making, willow working, medieval forge, bodging and spoon making as well as merchants’ selling leatherwork, jewellery, children’s costumes, pottery and crafts.
There is a great line up of activities for children including a make your own sword and helmet workshop, jester shows and storytelling.
