Andrew works mainly in oils, and draws his inspiration from the ever-changing face of the beautiful Borders landscape.

His work has been acquired for many important collections, including the Royal Collection.

Carol Binnie was educated at Kelso High School, where she was Dux Medallist. She went on to obtain an MA(Hons) in Fine Art , a course run jointly by Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art. She is currently teaching at the Royal High School in Edinburgh. As a painter she has shown work at the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Scottish Society of Watercolours. Still life is one of her main interests, and she demonstrates a mastery of the difficult medium of watercolour, sometimes using gouache to achieve a darker background to her flower studies. In this she has been inspired by the night paintings of Hopper and the Vanitas paintings of the Golden Age of Dutch painting. Carol will also show some experimental mixed-media work along with examples and information about her architectural commission work.

Róisín Binnie Lyst is a sixteen-year old pupil at the Duchess Community High School, Alnwick, where she will soon embark on her A-level courses. From an early age she has shown a remarkable artistic talent, and, as a passionate lover of animals, has made all of that kingdom her prime subject-matter. She began by making portraits of her friends’ pets, which were so successful that she received commissions from far and wide. She now has a website and a flourishing business, with customers all over the country and abroad.
