Written especially for a younger cast, this fast-paced, action-packed gangster story centres around Fat Sam’s Grand Slam – a notorious nightclub where “anybody who’s anybody could walk right through that door” and the Maltings kids hope that this means you!

Hilarious baddies, flappers, singing boxers, dancing down and outs, this musical has it all.

Book now to avoid the front row... did we mention the splurge guns, the custard pies and Lena Marelli?

The musical was originally a film version starring a very young Jodie Foster, Bonnie Langford and Scott Baio, who viewers knew best as Chachi from Happy Days. The film is, unbelievably, 40 years old this year.

Bugsy Malone is on at Berwick’s Maltings Theatre from Thursday June 23 to Saturday June 25. Tickets, costing £10 (£8 for concessions and £30 for a family ticket) are available from the box office on 01289 330999, or see the website at www.maltingsberwick.co.uk
