Preview: Clef Club presents Trinity Beaux and Belles.

These gifted young professionals are currently on a week’s long residential in the area with director Andrew Sherwood before they graduate and begin their respective careers.

The Trinity Laban Conservatoire was founded as Trinity Music College over 140 years ago in 1872 – an institution that boasts a long-list of world-renowned performers among its teaching staff and alumni where entry grades to the college are of an exceptionally high standard.

But as one of the oldest music clubs in the Scottish Borders, the venue is sure to provide a perfect atmosphere. The Clef Club regularly provides people of all ages with the platform to perform mainly short pieces of classical music. The club also has a regular monthly meeting season in which all the music is provided by its members and guests.

This is therefore a concert not to be missed and would urge those interested in hearing such talented musicians perform to come along with doors opening from 7pm this Friday, April 15. A similar event last year was a terrific success which received such positive feedback. Entry is completely free and there is no obligation to join the Clef Club.

Refreshments will be served at the interval with the concert scheduled to finish at approximately 9.30pm. Seating is limited and is unreserved, however, if you would like to reserve a seat you can contact 0778037 8590 or the advice is to come along early.
