Expect the unexpected with Celtic trailblazers
The legendary Peatbog Faeries will land in Langholm’s Buccleuch Centre on Saturday, October 31, as part of a tour to promote their latest album, Blackhouse.
Hailing from the Isle of Skye, the Peatbog Faeries are the figurehead trailblazers of the Celtic Dance Music renaissance.
Drawing upon a dazzling myriad of influences from traditional jigs and reels through jazz, hip hop, reggae and more, they take traditional Scottish music and bring it fresh-faced and breathless into the 21st century.
The gig starts at 7.30pm. Tickets, costing £15, are available from the box office on 01387 381196. A pre-theatre supper is also available, but must be booked ahead.
