Borders artists support Barnardo’s

Borders artists Lesley McLaren and George Donald are just two of more than 30 of Scotland’s leading artists supporting Barnardo’s Scotland Art Show 2014, which runs from March 14 -16, to raise funds for the children’s charity.

Inspiration for Lesley’s contemporary paintings, pictured right, comes from the Borders countryside, and she regularly exhibits her work at the Flat Cat Gallery in Lauder.

Whilst travelling, Lesley collects images in her sketch book and on camera. Back in the studio she seeks to recreate the essence and drama of the beautiful Borders countryside.
