Following the success of last year’s ambitious panto, The Wizard of Oz, Oyster Theatre is departing from the norm and allowing its younger members to write their own show.
It will be performed, for one night only, at Walkerburn Public Hall on Tuesday, April 14, at 7.30pm.
Director Sue Tickner has been an inspiration to Oyster Theatre’s junior players, to such an extent that they have been given the responsibility to write, cast, direct, stage-manage and produce their own sketch, which will be incorporated into Finale II, a musical revue, written by Sue.
In addition to home-grown talent, Sue’s grandsons, Harvey and Max Mills, will be joining the company. They have performed on the London stage and at the Edinburgh Fringe in Les Miz, Beauty & The Beast and Jack & The Beanstalk.
Tickets (£6, £5 conc.) available on the door, or at Walkerburn Post Office .
