Saturdays in high demand

THE Saturdays are among the five acts so far announced for this year’s In:Demand Live on May 20 in Glasgow’s SECC.

Others include Alexandra Burke, Professor Green, Tinchy Stryder and Alyssa Reid, and TheSouthern will have tickets to give away to the event, which is supported by the Scottish Hydro, in the coming weeks.

In:Demand Live derives from In:Demand Scotland, the radio show hosted by Romeo, which is on air every Monday to Friday from 7pm to 10pm on Forth One, Northsound 1, Tay FM, West FM and Radio Borders and 8 to 10pm on Clyde 1.

The show is packed with artist interviews, exclusive tracks, great competitions and the best gossip from the world of music and entertainment.

The Saturdays make a welcome return to IDL after a short break to make new album On Your Radar.

Alexandra Burke has sold more than four million records, and returns with a brand new single Elephant featuring Erick Morillo, while Professor Green secured his first number one single with the highly personal, Read All About It which featured Emeli Sande –- plus the release of the now double gold-selling At Your Inconvenience album.

Tinchy Stryder releases his fourth album, Full Tank, this year and Alyssa Reid had a number two hit with debut single Alone Again with her first album, The Game, showcasing her talents further.
