Duncan McCrone and his band will take to the stage at Teviothead Hall this Saturday night (November 29).
McCrone is a Glasgow-born singer-songwriter with more than 35 years’ experience of live performance, both solo and with a variety of traditional bands, including Hot Toddy, The Clydesiders and The Tron Band, featuring Ray Laidlaw from Lindisfarne.
Duncan, together with Cy Jack on keyboard and Stevie Lawrence (bouzouki, whistles, guitar and percussion) have gained a reputation as one of the most entertaining acts on the Scottish scene, adding a wealth of stories and humour to an eclectic set of original songs, carefully-chosen covers, and traditional songs and instrumentals.
The concert gets under way at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 and are available via 01450 850218/850394 or on the door.
