So prolific was Frank Zappa’s output that it is nearly impossible to present a representative sample of his work in just one concert. Nevertheless, Pygmy Twylyte offers an unmissable evening of Zappa classics. Zappa’s 70s and 80s work is the main showcase, though there is the occasional foray into his late 60s material. Expect some well-known tunes such as “Cosmik Debris”, “Stinkfoot” and “Montana”, interspersed with instrumentals like “Black Napkins” and “Chungas Revenge”. The band will surely bring something to suit everyone’s tastes. Now officially licensed by the Zappa Family Trust, Pygmy Twylyte present an unmissable evening for local music fans.

Since their inception in 2006, Zappa Plays Zappa have performed numerous world tours, and featured various Zappa alumni, such as Steve Vai and Terry Bozzio. Ben toured with Zappa Plays Zappa between 2010 and 2015, as lead vocalist and trumpet/trombonist. Based in L.A., Ben is a regular performer at the Baked Potato Jazz club.
