Hawick Panto Group (HPG) are offering up some much-needed pre-Christmas cheer to residents flooded out of their homes – by offering free entry to Goldilocks and the Three Bears this week.

HPG is this week throwing open its doors to help lift the spirits of deluged townsfolk offering them an escape from their nightmare experience by offering them free tickets to Goldilocks and the Three Bears on either Thursday or Friday night.

HPG coordinator Mike Webber said: “Like many we were devastated to see so many people flooded out of their homes. It is heart-breaking.

“As a group we always aim to support the local community and as a result we have decided to invite people to our show to hopefully offer up some much needed cheer during these terrible times. Instead of looking forward to Christmas many families across Hawick now face months of misery and we want to do our bit to support them.”

The pantomime production runs all week at Hawick Town Hall and people are advised to collect their free tickets from the Town Hall Box Office on Thursday and Friday night.

Doors open at 6.30pm with the show starting at 7pm.
