SCOTTISH Opera duo Kally Lloyd-Jones and Damian Thantrey bring an erotically charged and funny reinterpretation of live cabaret to the Eastgate Theatre.

Lloyd-Jones directs Cabaret Chordelia, while singer Thantrey stars in the show on Friday, April 13.

Lloyd-Jones recently directed Katya Kabanova for Scottish Opera and was choreographer and a performer in the Opera’s most recent 5:15. Her movement direction also includes the highly acclaimed 2009 Edinburgh International Festival Production of The Last Witch.

Damian Thantrey recently performed in A Little Night Music at the Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris, and sang in Scottish Opera’s Die Fledermaus and A Night at the Chinese Opera.

With music ranging from Noel Coward and Rogers and Hart to Kirsty MacColl and Tom Waits, Cabaret Chordelia is described as classy and mischievious.

Cabaret Chordelia starts at 8pm – phone 01721 725777 for more details.
