Seagulls, slipways and rooftops

The bright colours of fishing boats, tiny harbours, whitewashed fishermen’s cottages, and villages around our coast, whose cobbled passage-ways and vennels exude the character of the present, and the history of the past, are the inspiration for Yvonne Hutchinson’s exhibition, Seagulls, Slipways and Rooftops, currently on show at Old Gala House, in Galashiels.

Open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm (Sundays 1-4pm in June), admission is free. Ends June 29.
