Artist Mark Haillay is having an open day at his pottery at Riggsyde Cottage on the outskirts of Oxton at the weekend (June 28 & 29).
With over 20 years’ experience as a potter, Mark and his family recently moved to the village, adapting the cottage to incorporate their collection of birds – including emus – and the pottery. Throughout the weekend there will be talks about the birds, as well as the chance to tour the pottery.
Parking is off the A68 as you turn into Oxton Village. For more information, visit www.markhaillay.com
