Preview: Totally Tina takes the stage at the Buccleuch Centre

She headlined the Glastonbudget Festival last year (the biggest tribute festival there is).

But there’s nothing cut-price about Totally Tina, Justine Riddoch’s tribute to Tina Turner.

Currently touring UK theatres, Totally Tina is an internationally-acclaimed, award-winning tribute revue show to the Queen of Rock.

The show re-creates the spectacle and energy of her live shows with a six-piece live band, four stunning dancers and Justine’s incredible impersonation of the Queen of Rock and Soul.

Justine has been singing professionally for over 22 years and has worked extensively in theatres and on national TV. She is also a much sought-after session vocalist for some of the biggest record labels in the UK.

In 2002 she won ‘Stars in their Eyes’ as Anastasia, and performed live as an Anastasia tribute act for the next six years.

But having been told many times that she sounded like Tina Turner, she set herself the task of becoming the closest copy she could be. And the result is a revelation.

Totally Tina comes to the Buccleuch Centre, Langholm, on May 1. Tickets are £18 (£16.50 concs) from the box office on 01387 381196, or see www.buccleuchcentre.com
