Featuring a diverse array of emerging Scottish artists, it will provide a much-deserved cultural showcase for the surrounding community.

The Ebba Centre, already known for highlighting the work of local artists with its Community Trust SCIO-supported Arts Wall, hopes that the exhibition will be the first of many.

The Ebba Centre believes that art should be accessible to all, and is therefore proud to offer visibility and support to some of the Borders’ most exciting new talents.

The exhibition features Rachael McKenna, a photographer influenced by regular visits to her grandfather in St Abbs; trained artist Kevin Peden, whose paintings have been featured in the Royal Scottish Academy’sopen exhibition for the past two years; Roni Butcher, whose digital art emphasises the unique beauty of the Scottish Borders; Simon Holding, whose photography has been recognised in successive Photo Competitions by Scottish Borders Council, and St Abbs Visitor Centre; and Amanda Bell, the well-known, self-taught Coldingham artist whose landscapes and seascapes are inspired by daily walks with her dog.

The exhibition opens at 7pm on Friday, March 11, and will run until April 2. The opening night will feature Riddell Fiddles in concert. Entry is free, though donations are appreciated.
