Gaelic singing for fun

A new series of six Gaelic singing workshops begins in St Boswells village hall on Tuesday, October 21. The evenings are open to all and are led by Mary Low, with support from the Borders’ Gaelic singing group Turas and first-class
tutors, Rachel Newton of The Shee and Ainsley Hamill of Barluath.

“You don’t have to speak Gaelic or read music,” said Mary. “We learn by listening.”

The evenings run from 7-9pm each Tuesday until November 25 and cost £20 for the series. Under-18s free. Details 07990 842256.
