Student Jane snapped up by forestry programme
A 23-year-old student from Coldstream has expressed her delight after scooping a place on Scottish Forestry’s student training programme.
Currently studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Forestry, Jane Gibson will now also get invaluable on-the-job training which will set her up for a rewarding forestry career.
Jane will be based in Scottish Forestry’s Selkirk office but will get experience as an assistant woodland officer in a number of areas.
She said: “I am excited to join Scottish Forestry … I believe it will offer a host of new experiences, while enabling me to continue my studies and become part of a great team."
